This is an ancient Hawaiian prayer:
I love you.
I am sorry.
I forgive you.
Thank you.
Hoʻoponopono is a practice of forgiveness. When something happens between you and another person you can feel hurt, guilty or ashamed. When you repeat these words you accept total responsibility for what happened in your life AND for the other person. As the problem would not be in your life if it wasn’t within you. To change our reality, we have to change the way we feel about ourselves and clear the space between us and the other person by using this prayer. It is all about healing what hurts. There’s nothing else to do. So here goes, this is for you:
I am sorry.
I forgive you. As I forgive myself.
And I love you. As I love myself.
Thank you. I bless you.
