Story is medicine.
Simplicity is medicine.
In our hectic world I live my life as simple as possible in an attempting to get rid of the clutter and find ways to listen and find back the medicines we need so much right now.
Water for our tense bodies.
Silence for our cluttered minds.
Peace for our troubled hearts.
The wind for our jumpy thoughts.
The earth for our wild emotions.
Fire for our heavy energy.
Stories for our beautiful souls.
I’m a French/Dutch storyteller who moved to a remote village in the French Pyrenees with my husband and young children searching for a change from the overwhelming life I was making for myself in Amsterdam. I was always in a hurry, full of anxiety and hunted down by the feeling that everything I did could be done better. With all the freedom, wealth and education that my place of birth has provided me I feel my task is to find a way of life that serves us, modern people, better.
Summer 2017 we moved permanently to an old farm in the south of Holland. Taking the knowledge of nature and isolation back to where we came from. Currently we’re rebuilding the house, working on a (herb) garden and creating a powerful healing space.
I spend my days mostly writing and giving coaching/healing sessions as well as lectures about the obstacles of modern life, besides taking care of our family and animals. We’re expecting our third child in March 2018.
