It has been more than a month since my last post. The last weeks in Amsterdam felt like in between time. We have been back for three weeks now. T has joined us last weekend and we can start to find a routine again as a family. But first we still need to shake off the city. All the ideas I’ve gathered again about what life should look like. Something that is so strong in a modern life city as Amsterdam.
Autumn is here. During the day we sit in the sun, at night we light the fire. I’ve just read that in pre-christian culture, the stove was seen as the portal to the stars. The place where people gathered to say their wishes, to offer to the world of the stars and hoped to be a part of it.
I am offering my old ideas to the world of the stars this autumn. Like nature I wish to leave everything I don’t need anymore and start a lighter, more simple life.
