village life

Summer has really kicked in and the village is turning into one of those hot, sleepy little towns I remember from holidays. Life is slowing down, people sitting in the shade, talking in the street. Our beautiful neighbour Françoise has the cutest little house. Last week she decided to dye het fridge yellow with tumeric, tired of the white block in her kitchen. She loved the outcome so much, she also used it to highlight her hair with it. I so like the idea and the creativity!

Morning coffee at the little restaurant in our village with Michel, the owner’s son. Nothing changed since it opened 58 years ago. Not even the menu.
