mimosa

The mimosa is out in the whole valley. This is the first sign of spring and welcomed with open arms. There’s fluffy yellow everywhere and the wonderful smell is filling the air and our house as we are bringing in as much as we can carry.
This is the first place in France where the mimosa is out and it is known for it, same goes for the cherries in May (first batch goes to the president).

Especially early 1900’s a lot of modern painters were attracted to this area, working and living here and they all captured the mimosa in their own way.
