gratitude II

Dear Souls,

It has all happend before, and it will all happen again.
But the way we answer to what happens, may change everything.

Now the days become so very short, and our inner light is asking more of our attention, I’m wondering how did saying thank you change your life? How did answering to any situation, any question, any challenge with a soft whisper of thank you shift your relationship with the world?

I’m wondering about this.
I’m wondering what would happen if the place we come from would be gratitude. Not for what we have or how we feel, but for the simple fact that we are. Just like our ancient ancestors found their safety and blessings in the deep surrender of gratitude. How they trusted the goodness of life deeply, because of it.

Gratitude seems so small. But maybe it is the one overlooked thing that we so deeply long for. As it might finally bring peace to our unquiet hearts. As it might answer all our burning questions.
The one thing that will bring us the gift of enough

As we tend to keep ourselves captive in frustration of how things should be. What would happen if we, just for once, we dared to let go of what’s in it for me? and surrender to the magic of not knowing what the outcome will be, but for the highest good of all.

This winter, I invite you into something deeper, something older, something connected. I invite you back into the very old ways of love and belonging to a mystical world that holds us, but also into a future that loves and holds us deeply.

I invite you on the path of gratitude and ceremony. The old ways of the future.

The picture at the top shows the labyrinth. Also known as tree of life, an ancient symbol found all across the world. These two were found in Rocky Valley, Cornwall.
The labyrinth offers us the opportunity to walk through the dark, towards the place within us where the natural world is alive. Where ratio and intuition merge into the kind of love that connects the whole. I like to call that place Awen

Wishing you all a beautiful dark winter, filled with your light,

Sarah
