The pyrenees are in bloom. The wild rosemary, thyme, sage and valerian all have beautiful flowers. We’re picking a lot of different plants and herbs to dry. So it’s nettle soup for dinner and vervain tea for breakfast.
And in front of our house the sun is doing the drying for us. Laurel, eucalyptus, roses, nettles, valerian, thyme, buttercup, dandelion, fern, green oak, sage, elderflower, lemon balm, vervain, mint. All wild or bewildered, strong and beautiful. We’ll use them for cooking, tea and of course the herb baths.
